Renovation Waste Removal in North East Adelaide

Old kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and reno debris removed so you’re ready for the next trade.

5.0 out of 5 stars from 17 Google reviews (opens in a new tab)

Renovating is messy enough without a pile of rubbish slowing you down. We clear the old fittings and debris so you can get on with the job.

Clear as you go

Book a single clean-up at the end of demo, or several visits as each stage finishes. Either way, you’re only paying for what we remove.

Renovation jobs we clear up after

Kitchen renovations leave cabinets, benchtops, sinks, splashback tiles and appliance packaging. Bathrooms produce vanities, tiles, render, old tubs and shower screens. New flooring means old carpet, underlay, floating boards or vinyl. Repaints and replastering leave drop sheets, cornice offcuts and damaged plasterboard.

We clear all of it, and because we load by hand there’s no need for a skip bin — handy if your driveway is needed for trade vehicles, or if there’s nowhere to put a bin on a narrow street.

DIY renovators welcome

Plenty of our renovation work is for homeowners doing the demolition themselves to save money. Pull out the old kitchen or bathroom over a weekend, stack it somewhere accessible, and book us to take it away. You save on labour, and you’re not left with a mountain of rubbish in the backyard for weeks.

Fitting in around your reno schedule

Renovations rarely run exactly to plan. If the tiler is delayed or demolition takes longer than expected, just let us know and we’ll move the pick-up. We’d rather adjust the booking than turn up to a job that isn’t ready — or leave you living around a pile of rubbish because the date was fixed.

Once the work is finished, we can also take the leftover packaging from new fixtures and appliances, so the house is clear for the final clean.

Local Know-How

Renovation Waste in Adelaide: what to know

South Australia has its own rules for what can go to landfill and what has to be recycled. Here’s what matters for this kind of job.

Asbestos needs a licensed removalist

In South Australia, a licence is required to remove more than 10 square metres of bonded (non-friable) asbestos, friable asbestos always needs a licensed removalist, and a licensed removalist is recommended for any amount. Homes, sheds and fences built before 1990 can contain asbestos cement sheeting — have it tested before demolition. We don’t remove asbestos, but we’ll clear everything else once it’s gone.

SA’s waste levy rewards recycling

Every tonne of rubbish landfilled in metropolitan Adelaide attracts the EPA’s solid waste levy — $171 a tonne in 2026–27, paid by the disposal site and passed on in tip fees. Sorting green waste, metal and cardboard out of a load keeps it out of landfill, which is better for the environment and helps keep your price down.

Free drop-off for paint and chemicals

Paint, household chemicals, oils and gas bottles can’t go in a trailer load or a bin. NAWMA’s Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre and the Campbelltown Works Depot on Newton Road both take household chemicals, gas bottles and liquid paint free under the Green Industries SA and Paintback schemes.

Our Process

How a renovation waste job works

No guesswork and no surprises. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to the moment we drive away.

  1. 01

    Describe the renovation

Kitchen, bathroom, flooring, or the whole house? Tell us what’s been pulled out (or is about to be) and send photos of the pile.

  2. 02

    Upfront price

We quote a fixed price for the waste as described, including carrying it out of the house. Heavy materials like tiles are priced honestly upfront.

  3. 03

    Book around your trades

We time the removal for when demolition finishes, so your tiler, plumber or cabinet maker can get straight in.

  4. 04

Protect the house on the way out

Renovation waste is sharp and heavy. We take care through hallways and doorways in the parts of the house you’re still living in.

  5. 05

    Load and clean up

Old cabinets, vanities, tiles, carpet and plaster are loaded and the work area swept, ready for the next stage.

  6. 06

    Sorted for recycling

Timber, metals and clean cardboard are separated from general waste where practical, so less of your old kitchen ends up in landfill.

Transparent Pricing

Upfront prices, explained

Renovation waste varies a lot in weight. A load of old kitchen cabinets is bulky but light; a bathroom full of tiles and render is heavy and costs more at the tip. Photos let us price the actual mix rather than guess.

Your price covers carrying everything out, loading, transport and tip fees. You can book a single clean-up after demolition or several smaller visits as each stage finishes — either way you only pay for what we remove.

There’s no skip permit to arrange and no bin parked on your driveway for the length of the renovation.

What affects the price

  • Weight of materials — tiles, render and concrete are heavy
  • Bulk of cabinetry and fixtures
  • Carrying distance through the house
  • Number of visits needed

Pay by card, cash, bank transfer or Afterpay. Every job comes with a tax invoice.

How We Work

Professional on every job

Most renovations happen while people are still living in the house. We keep dust and mess to a minimum, protect the parts of the home you’re still using and leave the work area clean.

Homes built before 1990 may contain asbestos in wall sheeting, flooring or eaves. We don’t remove asbestos — have suspect materials tested and removed by a licensed removalist first, then we’ll clear the rest.

  • Timed to suit your trades
  • Care through lived-in areas
  • Work area swept on completion
  • Materials sorted for recycling
  • Asbestos left to licensed removalists

FAQ

Renovation Waste FAQs

Can't see your question? Send us the job details and we'll get back to you.

Can you take tiles and rubble?

Yes, in reasonable quantities. Let us know roughly how much when you send the details.

Do you take asbestos?

No. If your home was built before 1990, have suspect materials tested first.

Can you take old carpet and underlay?

Yes. Roll or cut it into manageable pieces if you can; otherwise we’ll do it on site.

Do you remove old kitchen benchtops?

Yes — laminate, timber and stone benchtops. Stone is heavy, so mention it when you ask for a quote.

Can you do several small pick-ups during the reno?

Yes. Plenty of renovators book a pick-up at the end of each stage instead of one big clean-up.
