Walkley Heights was built from the mid-1990s either side of the Dry Creek linear park, so we see everything from garden waste to moving-house rubbish here.
Walkley Heights is one of the settled suburbs between Para Hills and Ingle Farm, where a lot of homes are changing hands, being renovated or getting cleared out after decades of family life. We regularly work here and nearby in Para Hills West, Ingle Farm and Valley View.
Local clean ups in Walkley Heights
With new homes still going up around Walkley Heights, there’s no shortage of offcuts, packaging and site rubbish. We clean up for builders and trades, and help new owners clear the boxes, packaging and landscaping waste that come with moving in.
From a single trailer load to a full property clean up, we handle it start to finish — no skip bin, no hiring a trailer and no trip to the dump. We sort as we load so green waste, metal and cardboard are recycled where possible.

Getting to know Walkley Heights
Walkley Heights was established in 1995 on the former Yatala Labour Prison farm, either side of the Dry Creek linear park and its old river red gums. Around the suburb you’ll find the Dry Creek Linear Park, the Homestead Avenue shops and Wright Road.
If you’re near the Dry Creek Linear Park and there’s a clean-up you’ve been putting off, send us a few photos and we’ll give you a straight price to get it done.
Walkley Heights hard rubbish: council collection or private removal?
Walkley Heights is split between the City of Salisbury and City of Port Adelaide Enfield, so the hard waste service you get depends on which side of the boundary you live on — your rates notice will tell you. In the City of Salisbury, residents get two free hard waste services a financial year through NAWMA — either a kerbside pick-up of up to 2 cubic metres, or a voucher for one 6x4 trailer load at a NAWMA Resource Recovery Centre (residents only, no contractors); in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, it’s up to three hard waste services a calendar year booked through Cleanaway — kerbside collections of up to 2 cubic metres, or up to two trailer-load drop-off vouchers for the Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre.
It’s worth using if your load is small and you’re happy to wait. Book us instead when it needs to be gone this week, when it’s more than the council limit, or when it’s the kind of rubbish council collections won’t touch — garden waste, renovation debris or a full clean-out.
Tips and drop-off sites near Walkley Heights
If you’d rather take a load yourself, the nearest public drop-off sites for Walkley Heights residents are NAWMA Resource Recovery Centre, Pooraka (Research Road) and NAWMA Resource Recovery Centre, Edinburgh North (Bellchambers Road). Residents can book one free garden organics drop-off voucher in spring for a NAWMA Resource Recovery Centre; outside that, green waste is accepted at the centres for a fee. For the things we can’t take — old paint, household chemicals and gas bottles — NAWMA’s Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre and the Campbelltown Works Depot on Newton Road both take household chemicals, gas bottles and liquid paint free under the Green Industries SA and Paintback schemes. And remember South Australia’s rules: TVs, computers and whitegoods are banned from landfill, and eligible bottles and cans are worth 10c each at a container deposit depot.
Council services change from time to time — check the City of Salisbury hard waste page for the latest details.

James did an absolutely fantastic job! He tackled the whole job by himself, arrived right on time and was super efficient from start to finish. He even worked through the pouring rain without any complaints. …
Couldn’t fault this business at all. Came when they said they would, in fact early. Was polite and did everything he said he would for a fair price. Would definitely use again if the need arose and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!
