Rubbish & Waste Removal in North East Adelaide

Household junk, green waste, furniture and general rubbish loaded and taken away so you don’t have to lift a thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars from 17 Google reviews (opens in a new tab)

From a single trailer load to a full property clean up, we handle it start to finish. Tell us what needs to go, we give you a straight price, and we turn up when we say we will.

No skip bin sitting on your driveway for a week. No hiring a trailer and spending your Saturday at the dump. We do the lifting, the loading and the tipping — you just point.

Why not just get a skip bin?

A skip bin works when you have time to fill it yourself. Most people don’t. With a skip you pay for the hire, wait for drop-off, do all the lifting, sometimes need a council permit if it sits on the road, and then wait again for pick-up.

With us, the job is done in one visit. We load everything ourselves — from the backyard, the shed, upstairs or down a narrow side path — and it’s gone the same day. You only pay for what we take.

Where does your rubbish go?

We sort as we load. Green waste, scrap metal, cardboard and anything reusable is separated out and taken to the right place instead of straight to landfill. General waste goes to licensed waste and transfer facilities.

We don’t take asbestos, chemicals, paint tins with liquid, gas bottles or other hazardous materials — if you’re unsure about something, just ask when you send the job details.

Local Know-How

Waste Removal in Adelaide: what to know

South Australia has its own rules for what can go to landfill and what has to be recycled. Here’s what matters for this kind of job.

SA’s waste levy rewards recycling

Every tonne of rubbish landfilled in metropolitan Adelaide attracts the EPA’s solid waste levy — $171 a tonne in 2026–27, paid by the disposal site and passed on in tip fees. Sorting green waste, metal and cardboard out of a load keeps it out of landfill, which is better for the environment and helps keep your price down.

Council hard waste has limits

North-east councils offer free hard waste collections, but with caps: Tea Tree Gully gives two free at-call collections a year (hard waste or mattresses), while Salisbury and Playford households get two NAWMA services a year of up to 2 cubic metres. None of them take green waste or building materials — that’s where a private removal fills the gap.

E-waste can’t go to landfill in SA

Since 1 September 2013, whitegoods, TVs, computers, fluorescent lighting and other e-waste such as vacuum cleaners and power tools have been banned from direct disposal to landfill in South Australia. Appliances and electronics we remove are separated and sent for recycling, and householders can drop TVs and computers off free at NAWMA’s Resource Recovery Centres.

Bottles and cans are worth 10c each

South Australia has had a container deposit scheme since 1977, and eligible drink containers have returned 10 cents since 2008. If a garage or shed clean-out turns up crates of empties, set them aside — they’re worth taking to a collection depot rather than throwing out.

Our Process

How a waste removal job works

No guesswork and no surprises. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to the moment we drive away.

  1. 01

    Tell us what’s going

Use the quote form, Messenger or email to send a short description and a few photos. A rough idea of how much there is — a ute load, a trailer, a whole garage — is plenty to start with.

  2. 02

    Get a fixed, upfront price

We reply with a clear price for the job as described, and a time that suits you. Nothing is booked in until you’re happy with both.

  3. 03

We arrive when we said we would

You’ll know when to expect us, and if anything changes on our side you’ll hear about it before the booked time — not after.

  4. 04

    Quick walk-through

Before lifting anything, we confirm what’s going and what’s staying. If the job turns out to be different from the description, we tell you the revised price before we start, and you can say no.

  5. 05

    Load, sort and sweep

We carry everything out ourselves, separating green waste, scrap metal and cardboard as we load. When the trailer is full, the area gets swept or raked so it’s left clean.

  6. 06

Pay the way that suits you

Card, cash, bank transfer or Afterpay. You get a proper invoice with our ABN — customers regularly mention that it arrives the same day.

Transparent Pricing

Upfront prices, explained

Rubbish removal is priced on two things: how much space the load takes up and what it’s made of. That’s why we ask for photos — they let us give you a firm number before we arrive rather than a vague range that changes on the day.

The price we quote includes the labour to carry and load everything, transport, and the tip fees at licensed facilities. There’s no separate call-out fee, no charge for us sorting out recycling, and no “extra” for a walk from the backyard to the trailer.

If you add items on the day, or the job is clearly bigger than the photos showed, we’ll stop and tell you the new price before carrying on. You always decide.

What affects the price

  • Volume — how much of a trailer the load fills
  • Heavy materials like concrete, soil, bricks and tiles, which attract weight-based tip fees
  • Mattresses, tyres and similar items with their own disposal charges
  • Difficult access, such as stairs or a long carry

Pay by card, cash, bank transfer or Afterpay. Every job comes with a tax invoice.

How We Work

Professional on every job

We treat every property as if it were our own. That means protecting floors and door frames when moving bulky items through a house, keeping gates closed for pets, and not leaving the job half done because the trailer was full — if a second load is needed, we say so upfront.

You’ll deal with the same person from quote to invoice, so there’s no explaining the job twice. Straight answers, no pressure and no surprises — that’s the whole idea behind “Reliable. On time. Every time.”

  • On time, or a heads-up before the booked time
  • No lifting required from you
  • Recycling separated as we load
  • Area swept or raked when we finish
  • Tax invoice with our ABN, usually the same day

FAQ

Waste Removal FAQs

Can't see your question? Send us the job details and we'll get back to you.

Do I need a skip bin?

Not usually. We come to you, load it ourselves and take it away the same visit — no permit, no waiting for a bin drop-off and pick-up.

How much does rubbish removal cost?

It depends on how much there is and what it is. Send us a few photos or a quick description and we’ll give you an upfront price before anything is booked in. No surprises on the day.

Do I need to be home?

Not always. If the rubbish is accessible — say on the driveway or in the backyard — we can collect while you’re out. Just let us know when you book.

Is there a minimum job size?

No. We’re happy to take a single mattress or one old couch, right up to a full house clean-out.

What can’t you take?

Asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint, oils, gas bottles and other hazardous waste. Everything else — junk, green waste, furniture, appliances, building waste — is usually fine.

Can you take things from inside the house?

Yes. We remove items from bedrooms, living areas, upstairs rooms, garages and under-house storage — you don’t need to move anything to the kerb first.

Will the price change on the day?

Not if the job matches what was described. If there’s noticeably more, or different, rubbish, we tell you the revised price before we load it, and you can choose to leave the extra items.

Do you recycle?

Wherever practical. Green waste goes to organics recycling, metals to scrap recyclers and clean cardboard to recycling, rather than everything going to landfill as mixed waste.
