People book garage and shed clean-outs for all sorts of reasons: getting the car back under cover, setting up a home gym or workshop, preparing a house for sale, clearing a parent’s home when they move into care, or simply finally dealing with the boxes that came from the last move.
Whatever’s behind it, the hardest part is usually starting. Once you’ve decided what stays, we do the heavy lifting, sorting and sweeping. Most single garages and garden sheds are cleared in a few hours, and you’re left with a space you can actually use — and a clear idea of what you still own.
Garages and sheds tend to collect things that can’t go in a trailer: half-full paint tins, pool chemicals, pesticides, fuel and gas bottles. We won’t dump them. Instead we put them to one side safely and point you to the free Green Industries SA drop-off depots, so they’re disposed of properly.

Local Know-How
South Australia has its own rules for what can go to landfill and what has to be recycled. Here’s what matters for this kind of job.
Paint, household chemicals, oils and gas bottles can’t go in a trailer load or a bin. NAWMA’s Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre and the Campbelltown Works Depot on Newton Road both take household chemicals, gas bottles and liquid paint free under the Green Industries SA and Paintback schemes.
South Australia has had a container deposit scheme since 1977, and eligible drink containers have returned 10 cents since 2008. If a garage or shed clean-out turns up crates of empties, set them aside — they’re worth taking to a collection depot rather than throwing out.
Since 1 September 2013, whitegoods, TVs, computers, fluorescent lighting and other e-waste such as vacuum cleaners and power tools have been banned from direct disposal to landfill in South Australia. Appliances and electronics we remove are separated and sent for recycling, and householders can drop TVs and computers off free at NAWMA’s Resource Recovery Centres.

In South Australia, a licence is required to remove more than 10 square metres of bonded (non-friable) asbestos, friable asbestos always needs a licensed removalist, and a licensed removalist is recommended for any amount. Homes, sheds and fences built before 1990 can contain asbestos cement sheeting — have it tested before demolition. We don’t remove asbestos, but we’ll clear everything else once it’s gone.

Our Process
No guesswork and no surprises. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to the moment we drive away.
A couple of photos of the garage or shed from the doorway is usually enough. Tell us roughly what’s staying — tools, the car, Christmas decorations — and what can go.
You get a fixed price for clearing the space, not an hourly rate that keeps running. We include sorting and sweeping in that number.
We work through the space in sections, checking with you on anything we’re unsure about. Keep, donate, recycle and dump piles are kept separate.
Scrap metal, cardboard, e-waste and green waste each go their own way. Things we can’t take — full paint tins, chemicals, gas bottles — are set aside and we’ll tell you where to drop them.
Once the rubbish is out, the floor is swept and the shelves you’re keeping are left clear and usable.
You walk back into a usable garage or shed, and the invoice — with our ABN — comes through promptly.
Transparent Pricing
A garage or shed clean-out is priced on how full the space is and what’s in it. Lots of cardboard and light junk loads quickly; old engine parts, timber and bricks are heavier and attract higher tip fees.
The quote includes the time spent sorting with you, not just the loading. We’d rather spend ten minutes confirming what stays than throw out something you needed.
Things we can’t legally take — chemicals, gas bottles, liquid paint — aren’t charged for. We simply leave them aside and point you to the free Green Industries SA drop-off depots.
Pay by card, cash, bank transfer or Afterpay. Every job comes with a tax invoice.
How We Work
A garage clean-out often means going through years of family belongings. We work patiently, don’t make assumptions about what’s junk, and ask before anything goes on the trailer if it’s not obvious.
We leave the space safer than we found it: no protruding nails, broken glass or loose sheeting left behind, and shelving left stable.

We can’t take liquid paint, chemicals or gas bottles. Dried-out empty tins are fine. Adelaide’s household chemical drop-off days are the right option for the rest.
